This data privacy statement informs users of www.signalbilder.de about the type, scope and purpose of the elicitation and usage of personal data. This data privacy statement is based on the German data protection act (BDSG-neu), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Teleservices Act (TMG).
General remarks
The operator of this website upholds the commitments of the data protection law and respects the privacy of the visitors.
- All captured data is protected in a highly sophisticated manner with the best of our knowledge.

- While using this website no data is sent to third party servers. If the transfer of personal data is necessary in an isolated case, the users will be informed before any transfer takes place (commonly called „Opt-In“). This ensures, that IP addresses of the users are best possibly protected from third parties.
Personal data

Ordering procedure
For each order in the online shop the contact data of the customer is sent to the operator. This personal data is required in order to process the payment and deliver the articles to the customer. Besides this the following informations are stored:
- date and time of the contact request
- IP address of the requesting user
- identification of the web browser (commonly called „User-Agent“)
During the ordering process the customer may permit the operator to send informations about his products and services. As long as the permission is not revoked the operator will save the contact data permanently for this purpose. The permission can be revoked at any time through an informal message to the operator.
If no permission for contact was granted by the customer, any personal data is removed three month after the corresponding order was finally processed.
The operator reserves the right to keep contact data from orderings, if there are concrete indications or eligible suspicions of illegitimate usage until the issue is resolved.
Payments via „PayPal“
In the ordering process the customer may select a payment method called „PayPal“. This payment method is provided by an external provider (belonging to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., located at Luxembourg).
If the „PayPal“ payment method was selected, the customer is redirected to a „PayPal“ server in order to finish the payment process. During the payment process the IP address of the user and the originating page of this website is sent to the „PayPal“ servers. Besides this „PayPal“ can analyse the buying behaviour of its customers. Further information about the scope and usage of personal data by „PayPal“ can be found in their privacy policy.
If a customer does not want to get tracked by „PayPal“, he might use one of the other payment methods.
Contacting
Users may contact the operator through the provided contact form or via e-mail. Any contact requests and resulting communications including personal data are stored by the operator in order to process the request and for the case of possible follow-up questions. Besides this the following informations are stored:
- date and time of the contact request
- IP address of the requesting user
- identification of the web browser (commonly called „User-Agent“)
These information are used for recognition and protection against potential malpractice (especially Spam). Any resolved contact request including personal data and follow-up communications is removed automatically after three months.
The operator reserves the right to keep contact requests and follow-up communication, if there are concrete indications or eligible suspicions of illegitimate usage until the issue is resolved.
The provided contact form requires cookies to be enabled in the web browser.
Server logfiles
Any request to this website is recorded into logfiles (commonly called „Server logfiles“). The recorded data contains:
- the anonymzed visitor's IP address
- identification of the web browser (commonly called „User-Agent“)
- point in time of the request
- address of the requested page
- amount of tranferred data
- notification about the success of the request
The operator uses these logfiles for detection and elimination of possible malfunctions (especially for protection against Spam and DOS attacks). The operator reserves the right to review the logfiles afterwards, if there are concrete indications or eligible suspicions of illegitimate usage.
The IP address is stored anonymously. Therefore no personal data is stored into the server logfiles. The server logfiles are automatically removed after two weeks.
Usage statistics
This website uses the software „Matomo“ (formerly known as „Piwik“) in order to keep track of visitors. This allows us to optimize our website and discover possible problems. The IP address is stored anonymously. This means we are not tracking personal data of our visitors.
„Matomo“ makes use of cookies - a small piece of data sent from a website and stored on the user's computer by the user's web browser while the user is browsing. Any information, that is gathered by the tracking cookie is saved on our servers in Germany and is not passed to a third party.
Users may disable tracking by setting an opt-out cookie on this page.
Legal instructions

But the operator can't fully guarantee the further applicability of the provided files by another vendor.
This website does not make use of automated processing (profiling). Therefore these requirements do not apply to the operator.
